Healthy Seniors Seaforth opens its doors

Uniting Healthy Living for Seniors Seaforth opens its doors

To welcome in the New Year, Uniting Healthy Living for Seniors Seaforth will open its doors to the community on Wednesday 3 February.

Uniting Healthy Living for Seniors is a community network of seniors who come together to enjoy time and activities together. The service is based on Panorama Parade, Seaforth. Jasmine Dove, the Uniting Healthy Living for Seniors Coordinator, said the Seaforth program was unique. “We are one big family who like to spend time and see and do new things together,” Ms Dove said.

We maintain a community garden on site and offer other activities such as arts and crafts, gentle exercises and dance therapy. As part of the Opening celebrations, music will fill the Uniting Church hall with local act ‘Vivo Duo’ playing the guitar, accordion, and piano.

There will be plenty to eat and drink, small canapés will be served throughout the day. There will also be entertainment and activities for the whole family, including art therapy classes.
