Mary

Mary was scared to move into an aged care home, but the moment the door opened the staff said, “Welcome Mama Mary” and she knew she was in the right place.

Uniting helps older people live happy, healthy lives. Whether you’re looking to downsize, need support to stay living independently at home, require full time assistance with your health and care, or just want to get out and socialise with new people, we’re here for you. We’re the largest not-for-profit provider of aged care in NSW and ACT, offering lifestyle, health and care services to more than 14,000 older people across NSW and ACT.

Lucy

Lucy and her little sister love going to preschool where their mum is an early learning teacher. After school she does gymnastics and can’t wait to start big school.

For children, learning begins long before the first day of school. Our qualified teachers recognise and value curiosity and creativity within every child. Children who are part of our early learning, preschool and out of school hours care programs learn through exploration and discovery.

Jennah

Jennah had been couch-surfing for quite a while. Now she has a home, a financial plan, and a sense of a direction in her life.

Across Uniting, our Aboriginal staff are working with local people and their communities. It's important that these programs are designed and run by Aboriginal people, as the traditional custodians of our land.

Robin

Robin is learning to live independently in her own home with disability support. She enjoys making short films.

For people living with disability, our services see them doing things they never thought possible. Knowing where to start isn’t always easy. Uniting stands beside people and their families to help them access what they need to achieve their goals.
