About us

Located in Gordon in Canberra’s thriving southern suburbs, Uniting Amala is a brand new residential aged care home.

If you choose Uniting Amala, the level of care and support you receive will be based on your needs. Whether you simply need a hand with personal care (such as getting dressed) or need fulltime nursing support, we’ll develop a care plan that’s right for you.

We also recognise the effect a true sense of home has on health and wellbeing. As such, things happen a little differently to what you might think. It’s the big and the small things. Like deciding when to wake up and what you’d like for breakfast. You retain control over the routines and rituals of your life. After all, that’s what being at home is all about.

Experts in care

Through inspired care, we honour your desire to express who you are, make your own decisions about the support you receive and contribute as a member of the community.
