Uniting has a history of providing out-of-home care in NSW for more than 100 years.

Our programs offer a range of short and long term care options for children and young people including foster care, residential care, intensive foster care and supported family group homes.

Children and young people entering Out-of-Home Care have often lived through varying degrees of trauma, loss and separation in their short lives. We know such experiences can impact greatly upon their cognitive and social development. We believe working together with carers as a care team is the best way to provide support tailored to the needs of the child or young person in care.
