Retirement villages

At Uniting, we believe that independent living villages are much more than bricks and mortar. They are welcoming social communities that give you more time to enjoy life, and be as involved as you want to be. For us, independent living is all about personal choice.

Private and secure living

Uniting offers a wide range of well-designed, affordable and secure homes. You can choose from our wide selection of studios, one, two, or three bedroom apartments or villa-style homes. Many offer open-plan living with modern dining areas, kitchens, bathrooms, laundries and garages.

Uniting villages are warm and welcoming places, with areas designed for visitors both within your own home and in the village grounds. Child-friendly spaces are great if you have grandchildren or younger family members.

Uniting villages are also welcoming to most pets. Before moving in just have a talk to the Village Manager to make sure your chosen village is suitable for your animal(s).

Enjoy how you live

With the general day-to-day maintenance taken care of by Uniting, everyone in the village has more time to enjoy life.

Most of our villages have a community room and an informal Activities Committee that organises events, outings and social activities.

We understand that security is important as you get older, and that's why your Uniting Village Manager is always on hand to provide assistance and support. Our specialist Uniting Health and Well-being team, including our Pastoral Care and Home and Community Care team, and our 24-hour emergency call system provide extra peace of mind.

Live the good life

When you join a Uniting community, we welcome you as you, regardless of how you choose to live your life, your cultural background or your religious choices. That same welcome is extended to your family and the important people in your life.

Our residents tell us that life in a Uniting independent living village has given them the opportunity to make friends, pursue new hobbies and continue lifelong ones. Village life is all about a relaxed, happy lifestyle in a secure community of people your own age, with whom you can share common interests.

At Uniting, we believe that positive lifestyle choices should also be affordable. Our villages give you the option to buy a home under a loan licence arrangement, or to rent a unit or villa.
